Steam Heated Vaporizer NCV-01 Series: The design & manufacture of Steam Heated Vaporizer meets Chlorine Institute recommendations for liquid Chlorine vaporization by low pressure steam. The vaporizer design pressure of 300 lbs meets Chlorine Institute recommendations with corrosion allowance of 3 mm on chlorine side and 1.5 mm on steam side. 1. Liquid chlorine enters at the bottom of vaporizer ensures complete draining of liquid chlorine. 2. Dual liquid inlet nozzle at the bottom ensures proper liquid flow in the event of sediments present in liquid chlorine clogging any one of the nozzle. 3. Heating surface inside the vaporizer and the liquid chlorine outside the tube ensures no heating loss and hence no insulation of vaporizer is required.
Operating Principle: In operation, liquid is introduced through liquid inlet, which is connected to the bottom of the vaporizer. Here the liquid rises to contact sufficient heating surface to meet the vapor demand rate. After equilibrium is reached, vaporizer operates at essentially on container pressure. As gas demand reduces, the gas pressure at the vaporizer raises and reducing the Inflow of liquid feed. On sudden shut down of gas valve, liquid would be forced out of vaporizing chamber back to the container.
With evaporation, the vapor rises through the vapor baffle to the super heating chamber, enters the suction trap and leaves through the gas outlet. Suction trap collects moisture and prevents such moisture from corroding vaporizer chamber. Since suction trap is not a pressure part it can be severely corroded without impairing operation or safety.
Steam Heated Vaporizer SC 70: The company manufactures and supplies Steam Heated Vaporizer SC 70 - For Chlorine, Sulphur Dioxide and Ammonia. The design & manufacture of Steam Heated Vaporizer meets Chlorine Institute recommendations for liquid vaporization by low pressure steam. The liquid is inside the tube and the heating media is steam vapor which is outside the tube. The vaporizer design pressure of 300 lbs meets Chlorine Institute Recommendations with corrosion allowance of 3 mm on chlorine side and 1.5 mm on steam side. Series SC 70 Vaporizer is of heavy duty construction.
The internal and external surface of the vaporizing chamber can be easily inspected during servicing which is an unique feature of the design. Ease of cleaning is an added advantage to remove the sediments. SC 70 can be easily cleaned by removing the top bolt. Suction trap has a sacrificial chamber provided at the gas outlet which protects the main body from corrosion attack. The Steam chamber has nozzle connections for steam inlet, condensate outlet, pressure gauge, pressure switch and pressure relief valve. Insulation on shell must be done by the client at site.

R23 Vaporizer System:R23 Vaporizer System is generally custom built for the applications of carbon credit, wherein R 23 is vaporized and the vapor is passed in to a Combustion chamber for converting the ozone depleter gas into a harmless gas. The system is fabricated out of SS 316/ 304 MOC with super heaters mounted external to the Vaporizer. This system is provided with all safety automatic features to avoid liquid entry into the Gas phase system.
SO3 VAPORIZER SYSTEM : It is a custom built system with heat tracing on the gas piping of the Vaporizer system. The System is designed with care to avoid possible condensation of SO3 on the down steam of vaporizer. The system is provided with all safety features.
