Circulating Hot Water Bath Vaporizer
We design and manufacture Circulating Hot Water Bath Vaporizer for Chlorine (as per Chlorine Institute recommendations). Operating Principle: In operation, liquid is introduced through liquid inlet connected to the bottom of the Hot Water bath Vaporizer system’s tube by a dip pipe. Here the liquid rises to contact sufficient surface to meet the vapor demand rate. After equilibrium is reached vaporizer operates at essentially on container pressure. As gas demand reduces, vapor pressure at the vaporizer raises, thus reducing the inflow of liquid feed. On sudden shut down of gas valve, liquid would be forced out of vaporizing chamber back to the container. With evaporation, the vapor rises through the vapor baffle to the super heating chamber, enters the suction trap and leaves through the gas outlet. Suction trap collects moisture and prevents such moisture from corroding vaporizer chamber. Since suction trap is not a pressure part, it can be severely corroded without impairing operation or safety. Depending on the vaporizer capacity, type of liquid to be vaporized and hot water temperature available (minimum 65 deg. C), the hot water flow rate required for the vaporization can be calculated on case to case basis. Operational Safety Interlocks- Low temperature of hot water bath and low flow of hot water condition is interlocked with chlorine gas line auto shut off valve.
- High pressure on chlorine gas line is interlocked with waterline auto shut off valve.
