Having over four decades of experience, IEC FABCHEM LIMITED (formerly Indian Engineering (Works) Corporation) is indulged in the manufacturing, designing and supplying of Chlorination Systems for Power Plants that comprises of Cooling Water Treatment System, Filtration Systems, Electro Chlorination System Based On Sea Water and Salt Water, Toxic Gas Handling Systems & Neutralization System, Waste Water Treatment Plants, Sea Water Chlorination System, Drinking Water Disinfection Systems, and so forth.
Establishment
The company was initially set up in the year 1963 named as Indian Engineering (Works) Corporation in Mumbai, India. Later it was shifted to Chennai and turned into a public limited company ‘IEC FABCHEM LIMITED’. It has an admirable position in the field of Thermal Power, Atomic Power Plants and In Water Treatment. Engineering Capability
IEC is supported by highly qualified Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineers under the able guidance of Mr. P.S. Nathan (Chairman and Managing Director), to carry out basic design, detailed design and engineering for chlorination systems.

Modern Manufacturing Facilities
IEC factory is located at SIPCOT Industrial Complex at Gummidipoondi with complete infrastructure for fabrication, handling, machine shop assembly, quality control, painting and testing equipments. IEC has established chlorinator flow meter calibration facility with accuracy as high as +/- 1% of FSD. IEC has the complete range of test facilities to prove the performance and capacity of each equipment manufactured in the factory. Standard type Test Certificates from the Third parties Laboratories are available for the Standard Products.
Spares
All our system supplied is backed by spares, which are standard and readily replaceable normally kept in stock for quick deliveries.
AMC Contracts
We also take annual maintenance contract for system supplied by us.
